PawsFit was founded by Stephen Blumberg, a lifelong dog lover who decided to trade in his career as an advertising executive for his dream job of working with dogs. Often referred to as a “dog whisperer” by friends and family, Stephen has a special gift for connecting with dogs.
His inspiration for PawsFit came from witnessing a dramatic transformation of his own dog, Cleopatra, who shed extra weight, cleared up tear stains, and became healthier overall with the right care.

Motivated by his dog’s success and countless conversations with friends who wished they had more time to exercise their furry companions, Stephen decided to create a unique solution: a mobile dog gym.

PawsFit helps dogs stay healthy and burn extra energy using innovative no-motor treadmills designed specifically for dogs. Our low-impact workouts are gentle on joints while promoting cardiovascular health. Each session is customized to meet your dog’s individual needs. Rain or shine, our temperature-controlled mobile gym is the perfect solution for both busy pet owners and dogs.

We are based in Nassau County and serve the area as well as Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx. PawsFit is canine CPR certified and insured.
